The versatile Real Madrid defender was photographed today signing a new deal that nets him a hefty salary increase, while his attacking counterpart earns a lengthy deal after impressing on loan last season for Osasuna...

The good times seemingly continue to roll unimpeded at the Bernabeu. In the latest feel-good story, young defender Sergio Ramos has earned a pay raise after two productive seasons with Los Merengues. The former Sevilla player is just 21 years old yet has established himself as a right back for Spain and a centre back for his club, although he may yet move to the flank following the arrival of Christoph Metzelder.

Following a cordial meeting with Pedrag Mijatovic, Sergio Ramos was accompanied by president Ramon Calderon as he put pen to paper.Meanwhile, Roberto Soldado, the newly-capped Spanish international attacker, earned himself a five year deal after scoring 11 times in 30 league appearances, and also impressing in the UEFA Cup, for Madrid.
