Analysis: Chelsea fans lambasting Real Madrid?

Real Madrid and Chelsea two different clubs from two different leagues. There's no rivalry between them and they haven't played against each other very often.
Although it may sound ridiculous Chelsea fans have a tendency to lambaste Real Madrid and lambaste Madrid'ds administration. I have noticed this thing in many official and unofficial fan site of Chelsea and also through personal experience, i had arguments with some Chelsea fans more than once and they always ended up saying ' History is nothing'.

I am side stepping that and coming to the main topic ' why would Chelsea fans have anything against Madrid?'I am sure most of you have recently noticed Madrid's desire to sign players from Chelsea and the on-going Robben saga has angered many hardcore Chelsea fans. And when Schuster stated in a press conference that Madird needs a player like Ballack , many Chelsea fans were outraged even though Schuster said nothing about buying Ballack.Now let's have a look at Madrid, without any doubt Real Madrid is one of the best clubs on the history of football. Their record of winning trophies is unmatchable and famous players have donned the Madridista kit.

They won last year's La Liga after imposing dramatic comebacks in the last ten games or so and were unbeaten in their last twelve games, surprisingly enough the coach who lead Madrid to their first trophy in four years, Fabio Capello was sacked and is now being replaced by former Getafe coach Schuster. Having arrived at Madrid Schuster didn't hesitate to state which players and asked the unwanted ones to leave. As Robben was in top in the list of his summer signings it sparked stark criticism from hardcore Chelsea fans. Some of them were even quoted saying ' Madrid's days are over, They can't have all the players they want nowadays'.

Real's administration can be given all the blame behind Real's failure to win a trophy in four years. Calderon had done a good job by hiring Capello last season , but he proved that he is no better than Mr. Galactico hirer Fiorent Perez by sacking Capello.

Coming to Chelsea the club's fortunes have changed since the arrival of Russian tycoon Roman Abromovich. They won the E.P.L for two consecutive seasons and last year's league cup and FA cup double. Their fans are increasing at a decent rate and Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has made some clever signings and have showed his ability to squeeze the best out of his team, So there is no scope for any Madrid fans to criticize Chelsea , although we all know Chelsea's history is very poor.. but let's leave that. With all due respect I think all the 'Madrid hating Chelsea supporters should stop lambasting the Real Madrid team. They have damn good reasons for lambasting the Real Madrid administration but please mates show some respect to Real, we are the greatest club in the history of European football and current La Liga champions, besides Madrid players didn't do anything wrong.
