Moratti: Ibrahimovic Is An Artist

Internazionale president Massimo Moratti has declared his team's striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic an "artist", signalling out the tricky forward for high praise...

During a recent interview, Inter supremo Massimo Moratti could not hide his admiration for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The tall striker arrived at the San Siro from Juventus at the start of last season, Moratti proclaiming the virtues of his signing.

"Zlatan Ibrahimovic can create somthing from nothing and can do thngs that others wouldn’t even deem possible.

"For me he is the best of the best at the moment. He is an artist," gushed Moratti.

Ibrahimovic is set to take part for Sweden this weekend as they take on Denmark at the Rasunda in the Euro 2008 qualifiers.

The player is in a fine mood ahead of this clash, saying, "We're really looking forward to the game and have a strong belief that we'll win."

Ibrahimovic has scored 18 times in 44 appearances for Sweden, having been born in Sweden of Bosniak and Croatian parents. He began his pro career with hometown club Malmo FF before moving on to Ajax.

He made his name with the Dutch giants, spending three years in Amsterdam before succumbing to the lure of Juventus in 2004.

Following the Old Lady's 2006 relegation, he transfered to Inter, scoring 17 goals in his debut season in the nerazzurri.
